About Disha Hope Foundation
The Disha Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families, especially those from low-income backgrounds. We focus on early intervention, parent education, and holistic therapies to help each child reach their full potential.
Founded in 2017, the Disha Hope Foundation was born out of a vision to empower lives and bring lasting hope to marginalized communities—guided by the belief that “where there is hope, possibilities are endless.“
The name ‘Disha Hope’ carries a deep and heartfelt meaning. In Sanskrit, “Disha” means “direction”—a guiding path—while “Hope” represents the strength to move forward despite challenges. Together, Dishaa Hope symbolizes the journey we walk with families after an autism diagnosis, when they often find themselves lost, overwhelmed, and asking, “What next?”
At that crossroads, we offer both direction and hope—through early interventions, compassionate guidance, and a community that understands. The foundation itself is rooted in the founder’s personal journey of raising twins with autism, transforming her own struggles into a resilient path forward—not just for her children, but for many others. Over the years, numerous families have found their way through the support, therapy, and strength-building programs at Dishaa Hope Foundation. Their stories of progress and possibility are living testaments to what Dishaa Hope truly stands for: a path of purpose, lit with hope.
We offer a range of services, including:
- Early intervention programs using a unique approach
- Parent education and training workshops

Yes, all our programs are grounded in evidence-based practices from developmental psychology, behavioral science, occupational therapy, and special education. Our signature unique approach is built on proven principles of motor coordination, focus training, and behavioral regulation. The foundation’s work is guided by scientific research, including our upcoming longitudinal study of 10 years, which is set for copyright and publication in a patent journal. This study, along with real-life success stories, reflects the expertise and lived experience of our founder—a PhD in Psychology specializing in autism, who has also authored books on related subjects. This unique blend of academic rigor and practical insight ensures that every intervention we offer is both research-informed and practically effective.
Our programs are specially designed for:
- Children with autism spectrum disorder
- Families from underprivileged or low-income backgrounds
- Schools and NGOs working with special needs children
